Kinloch Community Plan
Taupō District Council is facilitating the development of an updated Community Plan for Kinloch by our community. The current plan was developed in 2017(see below), so this is an important opportunity to consider what matters to our community now in 2026 and what should be prioritised for the future.
The Kinloch Community Association (KCA) is gathering feedback to better understand what our community values. This will help us represent the views of the wider Kinloch community and contribute constructively to Council’s planning process.
Read more below about how you can have your say.
Have your say
We invite everyone with a connection to Kinloch to complete our short community survey. This includes permanent and part-time residents, property owners, business owners, community groups and regular visitors.
You do not need to be a KCA member to participate.
The survey should take approximately 5 minutes to complete. Survey closes 5pm, Friday 18 September 2026.
What happens next?
Once the survey closes, the KCA will review the responses and share a summary of the findings with the community. We will also provide the feedback to Taupō District Council to help inform the development of the updated Community Plan.
The draft plan will be shared with the community for feedback before it is finalised. We do not yet have confirmation of the timeline.
The survey findings and other relevant updates will also be added to this page as the process progresses.
