The Kinloch Plod is a fun run/walk for all the family and is about 5km long. The course is around Kinloch and is suitable for all ages. We reveal the course on the day and usually takes in parts of Kinloch that are otherwise closed to the public.
Reg from 8.30am and a 9am start at Kinloch Domain, Mata Place, Kinloch.
Cost $5 per person or $20 per family.
Proceeds go to KCA community fund.

The Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge will be heading along Whangamata Rd again this year.
Poihipi Rd will be closed until 10.30am and they will be letting cars from Kinloch Rd out on to Whangamata between cyclists.

The Taupo Ultramarathon is held along the shores of Great Lake Taupo, New Zealand. Come tackle the 24km, 50km, 74km, 100km or the 100km teams relay option. (While not an ultra distance the 24km will give those new to the sport a taste of the experience).
The Taupo Ultramarathon offers runners a once-a-year opportunity to access the spectacular Great Lake Trail uninterrupted over private land. It's an epic journey that showcases the very best of what the Great Lake Taupo region has to offer: lake views, mountain ranges, rivers, waterfalls, and native forest.
Whatever your challenge - whether you are an elite athlete pushing for a personal best, or a first-timer wanting to complete your chosen distance - the Taupo Ultra Marathon is a must-do. Come and challenge yourself on some of the world’s most beautiful trails.
This event utilises the world class trail network in and round Kinloch, Taupo.
Each course is very different from the next and has a little something awesome for everyone. Whether you’re headed out past the picturesque Kawakawa Bay in the marathon, around the headland loop for the Half Marathon, or up the Whangamata stream on the 5km or 10km courses, you are guaranteed to enjoy stunning views and top notch trails.
